Students from Grades 10, 11, and 12 received certificates of participation as awards for joining the Business Classes Practicum held last September 28, 2020 during the flag-line time before all the CPIS students.
The occasion was graced by the presence of T Friend, business teacher; T Lenie, co-coordinator of the middle & high school section; T Mhike, head of the middle & high school section; and Dr. Ade Libato, CPIS academic director.
During the business practicum, the three business classes had been assigned different tasks. The G10 students applied the HR knowledge in evaluating the members of the teams. The G11 students used the knowledge of statistics in collecting data from the online survey as well as analyzed the customers' needs. The G12 students attempted to apply the accounting formula as well as try to minimize the cost of investment and increase the profit.
Students commented that the business practicum was horribly exhausting but was a fascinating learning experience. The hands-on learning would be remembered well by the students since most of them got into such stuff in life for the first time. The lessons learned through personal experience would be difficult to forget.
