CPIS Celebrates Library & International Day
The annual Library & International Day returned once again with the ASEAN costumes on the campus and was celebrated on September 29 & 30, 2020. The highlights of the celebration were conducted in the Bhai Khan Library with Ajarn Jongrak, the CPIS Librarian, as the main program coordinator. All the administrators and teachers took time in inspiring and encouraging students to go for the “Read, Read, Read” or “Love To Read” program.
The teachers busily entertained students who read and summarized the stories they read from the many books. Once given the nods, the students would hand in their booklets for the teachers to affix their signatures. When the signatures were done that would be mean a big sigh of delight for the students. Moreover, the Library was also decorated with students’ art work, photos, gorgeous wooden art work, and other display.
The hilarious students who emerged as winners for the Book Reading Competition were awarded certificates and envelopes with some cash incentives. Library Day Competition criteria were: 1.retelling/summarization- 20%; 2.pronunciation-20%; 3. Speaking skill-20%; 4. Grammar-20%; 5. Confidence-20%; and 6. Number of books or pages-20%. Weigh= 20%.
