California Prep International School came alive with color, culture, and global pride during its International Day celebration on Friday, October 17, 2025. The program opened at 8:50 AM, treating the community to an exciting lineup of performances until a short break at 10:30 AM, and then continued with more presentations until lunchtime. Each grade level delivered electrifying showcases representing various nations, including the United Kingdom, the United States of America, China, Egypt, France, India, Japan, and Italy. To make the event accessible to families, the school streamed the entire morning program live via Zoom, allowing parents to witness their children’s performances in real time.
The much-anticipated occasion continued in the afternoon with an enjoyable second round of interactive Country Booth Rotations, running from 1:15 PM to 3:30 PM, where each booth offered 20-minute experience. Students impressed the school community with world-class hospitality, cultural presentations, and short feature performances. Among the participating nations, Egypt stood out as the most decorated and overwhelmingly prepared, showcasing flawless props, striking costumes, and powerful performances. Their presentation, planned since the start of the semester, demonstrated both artistic precision and rigorous practice. The overall design was led by Teacher Jun, last year’s champion, while the choreography was crafted by Sherry, a talented Grade 11 student from China.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant award ceremony from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM, spearheaded by Mr. James Robert Cott. The entire day left a lasting impression on students, teachers, and families, offering unforgettable moments filled with dazzling costumes, immersive classroom decorations, and a genuine appreciation for the rich diversity of cultures around the world.
