The California Prep International School held its much-anticipated Central Student Council (CSC) election on Monday, October 8, 2025. Students from Grades 6 to 12, including EEP classes and teachers, participated enthusiastically in casting their votes. After a spirited campaign, SA won the presidency with 94 votes against Tata’s 34, while Pun secured the vice presidency with 94 votes over Manya’s 34. For the secretary position, Teresa edged out Yannie with 66 to 62 votes, and Tina triumphed as treasurer with 77 votes against Alex’s 51. For Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.), Jaron garnered 98 votes, surpassing Cero’s 30.
The ballot counting was carefully supervised by the Math Department, with Teacher Sylvia Sun and Teacher Amita Shah handling the computations, under the coordination of Mr. Michael Alcaide, CSC Coordinator. The entire process ran smoothly, ensuring fairness and transparency from start to finish.
The newly elected officers were formally dedicated on Friday, September 12, 2025, in a simple yet meaningful ceremony. During the event, the officers were introduced to the school community and took turns addressing questions about their plans and priorities. Their composed and confident responses, paired with their first few agenda proposals, gave everyone a glimpse of their readiness to lead and serve the California Prep student body with heart and purpose. -GT
